Bob

Robert Mauterstock, CFP®, CLTC

Bob is recognized as an expert in the areas of retirement income planning, long-term care planning, and veterans’ benefits. He has been a financial advisor to hundreds of families over the last 30 years and has helped them achieve a worry-free, comfortable retirement. In addition, he has helped many families deal with the chronic illness of a family member. He has worked with them to create a long-term care plan using Medicare, Medicaid, Veterans’ Benefits, and other resources to protect their assets.

Bob’s services include:

Long Term Care Planning: Helping clients and their families prepare a plan to protect their assets if any member of the family suffers a long term chronic illness. This planning takes into account the benefits offered through Medicare, Medicaid, Veteran’s Programs and insurance companies.

Family Meeting Coordination and Facilitation: Working with families to collect the information necessary to conduct a family meeting. Coordinating the planning of the meeting and facilitating the actual meeting itself. This approach transforms the relationships between family members, improves their communication and assures that parents’ wishes are carried out.

Transition Planning: Working with elderly parents to assure them that their wishes will be carried out in the transfer of assets, beliefs and values to their family members. Helping them organize their resources and avoid any legal pitfalls in putting a transition plan together.
